BRAG comes to Tifton

BRAG comes to Tifton

This weekend (10/9-10/12) more than 300 bike riders participated in the Bike Ride Across Georgia.   I was proud to have been a part of the event and even more proud for finishing my first century bike ride  (107 miles).  Although Tifton was the headquarters, bikers of all ages cruised the roads from Tifton to TyTy, Omega, Eldorado, Fitzgerald, Irwinville, Nashville, Adel, Lenox, Chula and Sycamore.   One of my goals is for Tifton to bring more quality sports events to let people see the great scenery and hospitality Tifton has to offer.

Federal Tax Credit $8000

Filed under: Real Estate — admin @ 12:30 pm

The homebuyer tax credit will be expiring by November 30th.  If you can close on a home by then and haven’t owned a home in 3 years, you can qualify for $8000 in a federal tax credit.  There is also $1800 state credit available if you can close by November 30th.  I can assure you that the residential real estate market has benefited from this bill.  I recommend everyone reading my blog, please let your Congressman know that you want this extended.
